Happy New to you all!

May this year bless you. Just be sure to recognize the blessings God’s given you, they are not always obvious to us in our flesh. Be in your spirit and armed in your Spiritual Armor! The enemy works fulltime in doing whatever it takes to steal your joy for God! So be on alert always fo the blessings from GOD in your life. Even in tragedy, life can be less painful if you call on Jesus who has experienced physical pain beyond what we can imagine. Jesus Loves you! Know this in all you do daily!

From our family to you, Have a blessed New Year! We are excited with the churches and people who God is sending to co-labor with us and sopport us inprayer and support us financially, which all helps our ministry reach the goal fo the calling we’ve been called to do. We have made this committement with God serving here in Guatemala. Thank you and God Bless you!

Have a Blessed and Merry Christmas

We hope you are having a blessed month!

As we near the celebration of the birth of our savior, we would like to thank our Lord for giving us hope and the way to eternal salvation through Jesus. This is a very exciting time of year for us. We thank you so much for your prayers as we continue to serve the people of Guatemala. We can continue to minister to the wonderful people here with your continued prayers.

This month is full of preparation. As a family, we are preparing to have a wonderful time together here in Guatemala. The children can learn more about how Christ came to us and how Jesus changed everything for us. Also, it will be a great time share the hope and the joy that we receive from Jesus with our local church, all our neighbors, our project families, and those who we do not know yet but God will give us. We are also preparing for the coming year with the mission outreach. We hope to build homes in the coming year. Through those homes, we hope to reach more and more people for Christ.

It is always an adventure here. Every outreach and every time we share God’s love is different. God opens up different ways to communicate his Son. It is always exciting to see how God will work in people and through us. We hope your December is the same, filled with the excitement of watching God work. We know that sometimes the Christmas season can also be tough and we will be praying that this year, you only find the joy that Christ can bring you.

Praying for you this Christmas,

The Davis Family

Thankful in Guatemala for His Plan

A brief update from the field…

WORK: Levi continues to work on the base. What is he doing?  One thing is always, maintenance of weeds and other upkeep, but he is also working on the warehouse structure. We are excited that we had people come and help us get so far with it, and Levi’s doing what he can (now that is it not raining so much), getting it done for production of panels and any other ministry opportunities God has for us.

THANKFUL: We are so thankful for God’s plan and for helping us serve Him with the help of the Church Body. We have amazing mothly supporters. We have had co-laborers come and help Levi minister to locals in various outreaches and to help build the mission base. We have incredible prayer warriors to help us through it all, too.

UPDATE: Right now, we are nearing the end of November. This means whatever donations that come in now through November 28, we will recieve in our December 1st deposit to pay bills (and have Christmas). Our current total is $1500. When our budget is $3000/monthly. When we cannot make budget, lets just say, … it gets very challeging. Also, three Guatemalans serve with us and when we do not have funds, they do not have funds, so it’s four families affected. We all pray, and pray a lot!

FACTS: These are facts. The enemy wants us to feel bad about stating the facts but we know “WE ARE THE  CHURCH BODY” and we can claim Victory over the devil and the lies. Please Pray and consider what God may be calling you to do to help us in our deficit for next month.
